A comprehensive independent contractor agreement designed for professional photographers covering events, portraits, commercial shoots, and more.
Photography isn't just about capturing great images — it's about running a professional business. Without a solid photography contract, you're exposed to last-minute cancellations, unhappy clients, and disputes over deliverables that can damage your reputation and your income.
Imagine booking a wedding date, turning down other work, and then the client cancels a week before with no compensation. Or a client expects you to hand over every single RAW file from a shoot when you only agreed to deliver edited images. Or worse — equipment failure causes data loss and you have no legal protection. These scenarios happen more often than you'd think.
Our free photography services agreement template addresses the unique challenges photographers face: booking deposits, cancellation policies, force majeure events, deliverable specifications, image usage rights, RAW file policies, and data loss protection. It's designed to protect your business while setting clear expectations with your clients.
